Mostacholes Morixe with Pesto
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients
- Mostacholes Morixe 500gr
- 50g. basil leaves
- Morixe Extra Virgin olive oil
- 20g. walnuts
- 2 tbsp. grated cheese
- Coarse salt
- 2 cloves of garlic
Pesto sauce
1. Peel the two garlic cloves and crush them in the mortar with a little coarse salt. It will be like a paste.
2. We begin to add the basil little by little with a few grains of coarse salt. We do this several times. We are grinding in parts to complete all the basil. Always with a few grams of coarse salt.
3. Now add the walnuts. Blend until ground.
4. Add the grated cheese and combine all the preparation.
5. From now on, mix it in with a jet of Morixe olive oil, until the pesto has the desired texture.
Perfect Pasta in 5 steps
1- Cook the pasta with enough water so that it hydrates and does not stick. Always multiply the amount of pasta by ten times of water: 200g of pasta in 2 liters of water.
2. When the pasta water begins to boil, add the salt. Use 1 gram of salt for every liter of water.
3. After adding the salt to the water, add the pasta. Make sure the water boils at all times, even with the pasta inside, and stir constantly.
4. Let it boil for 9 minutes.
5 When it is al dente, drain it and add the sauce.
